The 2023 Subaru Ascent combines versatility, safety, and performance into one capable package with everything you’ve come to expect from Subaru. The Ascent offers three main trim levels, each with unique features and capabilities, and three special editions: the Ascent Onyx Edition, the Ascent Onyx Edition Limited, and the Ascent Touring.
Trim Levels of the 2023 Subaru Ascent
Ascent Base
The base model of the Ascent comes standard with features like Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist technology, a Rear-Vision camera, and three-zone automatic climate control. It also has an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. All-wheel drive is also standard on all Ascent models.
Ascent Premium
The Ascent Premium adds even more features, including a 5,000 pound towing capacity, second-row climate controls, and an available all-weather package with heated front seats and exterior mirrors and windshield wipers that can de-ice themselves. It also has 4G LTE Wi-Fi capability, STARLINK Safety and Security enabled, and privacy glass.
Ascent Limited
The top-of-the-line Ascent Limited offers several premium features, including leather-trimmed upholstery, a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with 4-way lumbar support, 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and dual-mode heated second-row seats and 360-degree heated steering wheel. It also comes standard with automatic reverse braking, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, LED fog lights, and the DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.
Special Editions
Ascent Onyx Edition:
The Ascent Onyx Edition is based on the Premium trim but adds several unique features. It comes standard with black-finish exterior trim, including the front grille, side mirrors, and badging. The Onyx Edition also has 20-inch black-finish alloy wheels, and a unique black interior with StarTex® water-repellent material and green stitching. The Onyx Edition also includes the All-Weather Package, which adds heated exterior mirrors, a windshield wiper de-icer, and a heated steering wheel.
Ascent Onyx Edition Limited
The Ascent Onyx Edition Limited builds on the Onyx Edition and adds even more premium features. It comes standard with leather-trimmed upholstery, a panoramic moonroof, and Onyx branded floor mats with green stitching. The Onyx Edition Limited also has a Harman Kardon® 792-watt-equivalent, premium audio system with 14 speakers.
Ascent Touring
The Ascent Touring is the top-of-the-line trim level and comes standard with a host of luxury features. It has Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. You’ll get woodgrain-patterned matte finish accent trim and rain-sensing wipers, too. The Touring also includes a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, automatic power-folding exterior mirrors with satin chrome, and interior ambient lighting. The Touring has chrome-finish exterior trim and 20-inch alloy wheels.
